Not to brag, but I'm starting to really get my hybrid analog/digital workflow dialed in. Developing black and white film at home is very easy to do, but very difficult to do well. It's never been tough to get something out of my negatives, but getting negatives with good contrast and tones and little to no dust can be challenging.
After enough rolls I've really gotten a feel for the craft of it all. Between my shiny new Leica, shiny new scanner, and familiarity with films and developers it's all starting to come together as a more repeatable process at home. Check out a few frames from a recent walk to the beach in Alameda.
Not having to rely on a lab for personal work is very liberating.
