Part of what I like about photographing couples is seeing what makes them work as a pair. Being photographed can get stressful, but when couples go through it together they tend to take comfort in having their partner there with them going through it at the same time. They're in it together and if I'm lucky they have fun with the slight adversity.
Page and Raley made the most of feeling a little awkward and turned it into a fun experience. We had a great time walking around the Albany Bulb at sunset taking photos. Despite my flash and umbrella acting like a sail in the wind everything went pretty well. The sculptures and graffiti looked amazing with the sky at sunset and even their three dogs stopped running around for long enough to get in a photo. I can't wait to take pictures at their wedding in just a few weeks.
